Kagawa University welcomes 47 new international students in October 2016

For the Fall Semester 2016, Kagawa University is honored to welcome 47 new international students coming from 13 countries and territories.

We are very happy to be hosting students from far away places such as Burundi, Malawi, Kenya, and South Africa, and also from near places such as Taiwan, Bangladesh, and Indonesia, among others.

As in previous years, we conducted a day-long guidance session, dealing in aspects such as dormitories, daily living, Japanese laws, and classes.

We finished off the day with a big welcome tea party. Besides the new students, we had student-tutors, senior students, and members of the local community belonging to various associations that have links with international students. All in all, there were perhaps about 150 people attending the party.(Lrong)
