Summer Trip to Naoshima 2016

With much appreciation to all parties involved, we were able to conduct the 20th Summer Trip to Naoshima this year.
For each of the past 20 years, we had been visiting one island in the Japan Inland Sea.
Students seem to enjoy riding the ferry, soaking in the views of the beautiful Japan Inland Sea.
I brought some Shakuhachis for the students to try playing.
Students spend the day frolicking on the beach, playing ball games or Frisbee.
Kids of the international students run about, playing in the sand.
As in past years, we held the 'Hitting the watermelon' game.
Thereafter, students had a good time eating the sweet watermelons.
Once again, a big thank you, especially to the East Takamatsu Lions Club, and Naoshima Lions Club for their never-ending support.
Oh yes, there were 86 participants, coming from 17 countries such as Croatia, Senegal, Mexico, Sudan, France, Germany, US, and a bunch of countries from Asia. (Lrong)
